Zulu War - Naval Brigade query

Well, I've not long started a new project, being the Zulu War for the Principle of War ruleset. I have my first couple of British regiments painted, of which photos will be added later.

I asked a question on the Miniatures Page concerning the Naval Brigade, and whether the following is accurate or not, and what changes will need to be made. Hopefully the response will provide me more accurate depiction of the Naval Brigade, and then I'll be able to get cracking on the full unit!

(Sorry about the bluriness of the 1st photo)

Figure Identification

Some figures I picked up on the cheap recently, but that I don't really have an idea of exactly what they are. Any help would be appreciated!

LOTR: Numenoreans and the Witch King

It's been a fair bit of time since my last post. I've been frantically painting away, trying to reduce the lead and plastic pile. I've managed to get quite a lot of painting completed, but nothing based yet. I really don't like basing! lol. In the interim, here are a few GW LOTR figures I painted ages ago:

Another figure I finished some time ago, this time, the Witch King of Angmar. It didn't quite turn out how I wanted to, but it's better than some things I've painted! :-)

Ancients, phase 1

I've been experimenting with 1:72 plastics over the last few months. These are a few of the first ones that I painted, just to practise on. The Egyptian skintones need a bit more definition, but considering they are the first ancients I've attempted to paint properly, I was quite happy with them:

Hopefully I'll get some other pictures up soon, which should include Hittites, Canaanites, Syrians, Lybians, and Bedouin.

First Post

So, after a long time deliberating, I've decided to get into blogging. I'm not going to go mad with it, as I really don't have the time, but when I do, I will put pictures up of some of my work. First up, some of my Stargate Miniatures based on the SG1 series

SG1:

And a Goa'uld with his Prime and Jaffa:

All of the miniatures are by GZG. I made the cloaks on some of the figures using a little bit of Green Stuff flattened out and shaped around the model. I have to be honest, I really like how the flowing effect turned out. Not bad for a first attempt at using it, even if I do say so myself! :-)

I'm hoping to add more Jaffa, SG teams in camoflage, and I've been looking for a more appropriate figure to represent my Goa'uld, but my search has been in vain so far!!!

I bought some really good scenery off Ebay in the shape of a temple entrance, and some sphinx statues, but I'll put those up on another post!

Ciao for now.
