Following on from an earlier post: High Elves , showing some of my LOTR High Elves, I've managed to get a few odds and ends photographed from my LOTR collection. Unfortunately, due to time constraints and other personal responsibilities, I'm having to get rid of all of my figures from the LOTR world. These are all up for sale, along with a considerable amount of unpainted miniatures, but I thought I would show some photos here before they go:
Halbarad
Prince Imrahil
King of the Dead
Aragorn
Duinhir
Beregond
Faramir
Minas Tirith Standard #1
Minas Tirith Standard #2
The Grey Company
Dwarf Captain
Sauron
Balin

Zulu War Project
Hi all!
I've been working on a project I had planned a year ago, but have only just gotten around to starting recently: The Zulu War for Principles of War. All figures are 1:72 plastics from Hat, A Call to Arms, and Esci. (Apologies for the poor quality of the photographs!) I've had a long running interest in this period, like many others I'm sure, which started with my dad showing me Zulu! And now that Hat have brought out some of their long awaited miniatures, I'm able to get this project going.
The collection so far includes the 1/24th Foot, Naval Brigade, 2 Royal Artillery batteries, and a few casualty markers.
I have some mounted infantry and the 99th foot on the painting table. I'm just waiting for Hat to release their Natal Native Infantry and British command and I will almost have all of the figures I need. And I've recently found out that they are planning some colonial dragoons!!!!
I am, however, struggling to find suitable figures to use for the Durban and Victoria mounted rifles. If anyone knows of any manufacturers that make compatible 20mm or 1:72 figures I can use for these, I would really appreciate it!
Thanks for looking

Teutonic Knights
Well, after a torturous couple of weeks, I have finally finished these Teutonic Knights! Yay! 28mm figures from Fireforge Games. These really are some stunning miniatures! The last couple of weeks have taught me one thing though: I LOATHE painting white paint! lol! I certainly have a new respect for people who choose to paint Napoleonic Austrian armies!
I hope you like them! :-)
If you do, and you would like to purchase them, they can be found here:

Teutonics - Part 1
Howdy all!
I've been working through my backlog of figures lately, and I have some Teutonic Knights from Fireforge games. I've never painted mounted Teutons before, so I was hoping to get some feedback on this one I practised on:
I had originally planned to use these for a Bretonnian Army, in conjunction with Perry Miniature's WOTR and Medieval Mercenaries, but alas, another project to fall by the wayside. So I thought I'd just paint these up as they are supposed to be, and then maybe sell them on when I'm finished. (Unless I really enjoy painting them and end up doing a Teutonic army for the crusades! lol)

LOTR Dwarves
Like many of us, I anticipated I would have the time to complete a force for the Lord of the Rings Strategy Battle Game by Games Workshop. I managed to get a few figures painted, nothing spectacular, but I have had to admit defeat and give up this particular project (I do still have Elves, Easterlings, and Moria Goblins to do, so it's no major loss really!) :-D
Anyway, just thought I'd post a couple of pictures of the ones that I did get around to painting
First up, a selection of archers. The flash made these look more orange than they actually are!!! :-O
And a small unit of Khazad Guard:
It's a shame really, as these are really great sculpts. Some of the best from GW if you ask me. But I have just have far too much else to paint, and so they must go!
If you want to purchase any of the figures I'm getting rid of, they can be found here, on eBay:

Warhammer 3rd Edition High Elves
I've been busy trying to get some major painting completed recently, hence I haven't had time to update my blog. But here I am! :-) I've been working on my Warhammer High Elves for 3rd Edition against my mate's Empire troops. We had a 1000pt game a couple of weeks ago, which was thoroughly enjoyable, probably because I won, but primarily because 3rd edition is more fun than other versions and my buddy is a hoot to play with. Anyway, enough of the talk, and more of the pictures, so here are my High Elves so far:
(For some reason some of the pictures came out sideways and I can't work out how to change them! Doh!!!)
Army Standard Bearer:
General and Army Standard:
Army General:
Phoenix Guard
Phoenix Guard Command:
Phoenix Guard captain
Phoenix Guard standard
So there we go, hope you enjoyed looking at them!
If you are interested in buying the Phoenix Guard, they can be found here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/150843736437?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
