Sumerians: Part 2

Hi all,

Following a previous post a couple of years back, 2012 in fact, I decided recently to get some of my outstanding figures painted up. From the original DBA army I put together, I still had a large number of figures left over from the 2 boxes of Hat 1:72 Sumerians I had bought. To think that for the princely sum of about £15 I can put together 2 whole armies for DBA, or a Division for Hail Caesar! Which is nice :-D

Anyway, here are the other figures painted up for your viewing delight:

Republican Romans

Taking a little break from my Slaughterloo project, I thought I would use the fact that I'm moving out and into the new marital home shortly to get caught up on some odds and ends I've had lying around for a few years, firstly to make some space, and secondly to make some extra cash!

I've had these Republican Romans in a drawer, originally earmarked for a DBA army, but as I don't play that anymore, I have no need for them, but have always wanted to paint them up.

So here they are!

HOTT Dark Elves

Hi all!

I've been working on a few projects lately (who isn't?!?), and one of those was to finish off a Dark Elf army I started a couple of years back using Splintered Light Miniatures excellent range of 15mm/18mm figures. And now that I have finally completed them, I thought I'd share :-)

DBA Imperial Romans

I have had these painted for some time, and they have seen a few battles, but it was a fleeting relationship with 15mm as I much prefer 1:72 plastics, although strangely, despite all the options available, I don't own a single Roman Legionnaire in that scale! Ah well, that can be rectified! lol These, as far as I can remember, are Freikorp 15s!

Anyway, a few shots of my Roman Army painted and based for DBA:

The painting is pretty basic, but still to a decent standard. I was happy with the result, anyway! :-)
