Mantic Dwarves - The beginning

Despite my best efforts to not start anything new, and to try and concentrate on finishing off existing projects, I picked up a few of Mantics Dwarves and Elves dirt cheap recently. I've had the free, downloadable rules for some time now, and despite them really appealing to me (Warhammer the way Warhammer should be, to me anyway) I've never gotten around to doing anything with them. Until now.

And so here is the start of my Dwarves: Ironguard and a Warsmith (apologies for the poor photography on the Warsmith) I tried to paint a hammer design on the shields, but they just didn't turn out how I wanted. Ah well, better luck on the next batch!

In addition, I had bought and started some Krautian Guard a little while ago, but have only just gotten around to finishing them off. I was going to use them in my division for the project, but decided against it in the end. Anyway, here they are:

Lord of the Rings painting, part 2

Following on from an earlier post: High Elves , showing some of my LOTR High Elves, I've managed to get a few odds and ends photographed from my LOTR collection. Unfortunately, due to time constraints and other personal responsibilities, I'm having to get rid of all of my figures from the LOTR world.
